Description
Steel round bar 250 mm 20MnCr5 / 1.7147 is a long cylindrical rolled product. It is manufactured in rolling mills from slabs and ingots of structural alloy steel grade 20MnCr5 / 1.7147 by passing a heated billet through rolls. The standard length is 3–6 meters. The diameter of the product is 250 mm. A running meter weighs approximately 385.3 kg, and one ton of rolled steel corresponds to 2.6 meters. Production is carried out in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
This metal product is widely used in the machine-building industry for manufacturing parts subject to high mechanical stress, such as collets, friction discs, gears, and crankshafts.
