Description
Steel round bar 260 mm 15XM (16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337) is a solid cylindrical billet made of structural low-alloy steel grade 15XM (16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337) with a circular cross-section of 260 mm in diameter. A running meter weighs 416.8 kg, with 2.4 meters of rolled product per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2–6 meters.
The round bar is produced by repeated hot rolling of billets. Production complies with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE). This steel grade features increased heat resistance and is weldable without restrictions.
It is used for manufacturing parts operating at temperatures from -40°C to 560°C under pressure, pipeline components hardened in water or air, as well as elements for gas turbines, boilers, and jet engines.
