The weight of a running meter is 416.8 kg, and the length of one ton is 2.4 m. The measured length is 3.7 m. The cross-sectional diameter is 260 mm. Round bars of this size are used in heavy engineering and machine tool construction, where they are used as billets for high-strength spare parts, large structures and small parts, components and assemblies. It is also in demand as a raw material for the production of high-strength seamless steel pipes.
