Description
Steel round bar 270 mm 35XM is a cylindrical billet with a diameter of 270 mm. It is produced in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 449.46 kg, and one ton contains 2.2 meters of the product.
It is manufactured by rolling preheated slabs of 35XM (34CrMo4 / 1.7220), a structural steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum.
It is used as a billet for parts operating at high temperatures for extended periods: turbine components, gear rolls, bolts, nuts, disks, and housing linings. It serves as a raw material for the production of pipeline elements for various purposes. It is also used in construction to reinforce foundations, as well as vertical and horizontal structures.
