Steel round bar 28 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a hot-rolled product made of structural spring steel grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108. The nominal diameter is 28 mm. The standard length is 2–6 m. The product quality complies with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is produced using hot-rolling mills. The weight of one linear meter is 4.83 kg, with approximately 207 meters per metric ton. This round steel exhibits good weldability.
It is widely used in mechanical engineering for the production of heavy-duty springs, torsion bars, friction disc shafts, and spring washers (Grover washers) that require high wear resistance.
