Description

Steel round bar 280 mm 18XGT (20MnCr5 / 1.7147) is a solid, smooth bar with a cross-sectional diameter of 280 mm. It is produced at specialized rolling mills by repeatedly passing heated ingots and slabs of high-quality structural alloy steel 18XGT (20MnCr5 / 1.7147) through rollers. The product is manufactured in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE). The standard length is 3-6 meters. The weight of a running meter is approximately 483.37 kg, with 2.1 meters per ton. This round stock is easily machined by turning and milling.

It is used in the machine-building, energy, and chemical industries as a billet for pipes of various diameters. It is also utilized for manufacturing springs, bushings, valves, hardware, and other components, as well as in the production of metal cutting tools and the development of various structures in industrial and private construction.
