290 mm Steel Round Bar 41CrMo4 / 1.7225

Steel round bar 290 mm 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225) is a solid rod made of high-quality chromium-molybdenum structural steel grade 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225). The cross-sectional diameter is 290 mm. The standard length is 2-6 m. The product quality is standardized according to DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).

It is produced by hot forming on rolling mills. One linear meter weighs 518.2 kg. One ton of rolled steel is 1.9 meters long. The steel can be welded without restrictions and does not crack when overheated.

This round bar is used to manufacture parts and components that operate at high temperatures: gears, rotors, turbine disks, couplings, fasteners, compressors, turbines, and fuel shutoff valves. It is also used in shipbuilding for propeller shafts of passenger and cargo ships.
