Steel round bar 290 mm 40XN (40NiCr6 / 1.5711) is a type of cylindrical rolled steel. The weight of a running meter is 518.2 kg, with one ton corresponding to 1.9 meters of rolled steel. The standard length of the bars is 2-6 m, and the product diameter is 290 mm.

The product is manufactured via hot deformation from structural alloy steel grade 40XN (40NiCr6 / 1.5711) in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).

Steel round bar is used for creating fences, gratings, gates, railings, and heavy-duty structural applications. It also serves as a raw material for producing high-pressure pipes, heavy-duty industrial nipples, and specialized couplings for critical pipelines. In mechanical engineering, it is utilized for manufacturing highly stressed critical components and shafts.
