Steel round bar 300 mm 40XN (40NiCr6 / 1.5711) is a solid ferrous rolled product shaped as an elongated cylinder with a diameter of 300 mm. The standard length is 2–6 m. A running meter weighs 554.6 kg, and one ton corresponds to 1.8 m. It is manufactured in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).

It is produced by hot rolling preheated slabs on rolling mills. The material used is 40XN (40NiCr6 / 1.5711), a structural steel alloyed with chromium and nickel.

This product is in demand as a feedstock for tubular and calibrated rolled metal products.
