Steel round 300 40KhN is a full-bodied ferrous rolled product that has the shape of an elongated cylinder with a diameter of 300 mm. The standard length is 2-6 m. A running meter weighs 554.6 kg, and a ton is 1.8 m long. It is manufactured in accordance with DSTU 7806-2015; DSTU 4738:2007 (GOST 2590-2006). It is produced by deforming preheated slabs between rollers on rolling mills made of St40KhN, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and nickel. It is in demand as a feedstock for tubular and calibrated rolled metal products and is used at construction sites to create various metal structures, high-precision engineering structures and various parts of technological units operating under dynamic and vibration loads: plungers, excavator shafts, levers, crankshafts, gears, rolling mill shafts.
