Description
Steel round bar 36 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a solid bar made of spring steel grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 with a circular cross-section and a 36 mm diameter. A running meter weighs 8 kg. There are 125.2 meters of rolled steel in a ton. It is supplied in 2–6 m lengths.
The round bar is produced by hot rolling a billet through a rolling mill. Production complies with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is used as a workpiece for critical and highly loaded springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, and other parts requiring increased wear resistance and operating without shock loads.
