Description
Steel round bar 36 mm 58CrV4 / 1.8161 is a solid bar made of spring steel grade 58CrV4 / 1.8161 with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 36 mm. A running meter weighs 8 kg. There are 125.2 meters of rolled steel in a ton. It is supplied in 2–6 m long sections.
The round bar is produced by passing a hot billet through a rolling mill. The production complies with the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard.
It is used as a workpiece for critical and highly loaded springs, thrust washers, brake belts, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other parts requiring increased wear resistance and operating without shock loads.
