Steel round bar 38 mm 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 is a metal product in the form of a solid round bar with a diameter of 38 mm. The standard length is 2–6 meters. A linear meter weighs 8.9 kg, with 112.4 meters of product per metric ton.
The rolled steel is manufactured in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE from 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 structural chromium-silicon-manganese steel. It exhibits excellent weldability under all conditions.
This round bar is used for manufacturing tractor track bushings, as well as seamless cold-formed and hot-formed pipes for steam boilers and pipelines. It is also in demand as a material for producing reinforcing elements in the installation of various metal structures, and in the automotive and instrumentation industries.
