Description
Steel round bar 38 mm 58CrV4 / 1.8161 is a solid hot-rolled section produced from spring steel grade 58CrV4 / 1.8161. It is manufactured at rolling mills via hot forming from solid ingots and slabs in accordance with the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard. The product is available in lengths of 2-6 meters. The weight per meter is 8.9 kg, with approximately 112.4 meters per metric ton. The cross-sectional diameter is 38 mm.
This steel is intended for critical, high-load applications, including springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, and clamping collets. It is ideal for components requiring high wear resistance that operate under non-impact loading conditions.
