Description
Steel round bar 40 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a solid hot-rolled section made of spring steel grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108. It is produced at rolling mills via hot deformation from solid ingots and slabs in accordance with the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard. The product is available in lengths of 2-6 meters, with a linear weight of 9.86 kg/m and approximately 101.4 meters per ton. The cross-sectional diameter is 40 mm.
This steel is used for critical and highly loaded springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other components requiring high wear resistance and operating under non-impact loads.
