This product is manufactured by rolling preheated slabs of 58CrV4 / 1.8161, a structural spring steel, on rolling mills.
It serves as a billet for demanding, high-load springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feeding collets, and other parts requiring increased wear resistance under non-impact loads.
