Description
Steel round bar 45 mm S355J2 / 1.0577 is a solid cylindrical billet made of structural low-alloy steel grade S355J2 / 1.0577 with a circular cross-section of 45 mm in diameter. A linear meter weighs 12.5 kg. One ton contains 80.1 meters of rolled steel. The standard length of the bars is 2-6 m.
Steel round bar is produced by hot rolling of preheated billets. Production complies with standards EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. This steel grade offers increased strength and excellent weldability.
Its primary application is the manufacture of pipes, rebar, and welded steel structures. It is widely used in construction for producing lightweight components, as well as complex structures for the chemical, oil refining, and shipbuilding industries.
