It is produced at rolling mills via hot deformation from solid ingots and slabs, in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. The product is available in lengths of 2–6 meters. The weight per meter is 2.98 kg, with 335.6 meters per ton. The cross-sectional diameter is 22 mm.
This product is commonly used as a blank for springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, and other components requiring high wear resistance and operating under non-impact loads.
