Description
Steel round bar 60 mm 30CrMo4 / 1.7218 is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 60 mm. Quality is regulated by EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. It is available in lengths of 2–6 meters. The weight of one meter is 22.2 kg, with approximately 45 meters per ton.
It is produced by hot rolling preheated slabs of 30CrMo4 / 1.7218, a heat-resistant structural steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum.
This round bar serves as a billet for turbine disks, flanges, shafts, and bolts operating at elevated temperatures. It is also used to produce components for the chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as spare parts for the automotive and aviation sectors. In construction, it is used to reinforce foundations and concrete structures.
