Description
Steel round bar 60 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a hot-rolled round bar made of spring steel grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108. It is produced at rolling mills by hot deformation from solid ingots and slabs according to the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard. It is available in lengths of 2-6 m. One meter weighs 22.2 kg, and a ton equals 45 m. The cross-sectional diameter is 60 mm.
This product resists shock and alternating loads and maintains dimensional stability under thermal exposure. It is used for friction discs, spring rings, Grover washers, torsion shafts, heavily loaded springs, and other applications. Steel 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 allows for the creation of springs that resist residual deformation for extended service periods.
