Steel round bar 70 mm 40NiCr6 / 1.5711 is a rod with a round cross section without a hollow space inside. The cross-sectional diameter is 70 mm. Bars are available in lengths from 3 to 6 m. The weight of one running meter is 30.21 kg. One ton contains 33.1 meters of rolled steel.

It is produced by hot-rolling billets on mills with rolls made of 40NiCr6 / 1.5711 alloy structural steel in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.

The product is used in machine tool building, shipbuilding, and mechanical engineering as a raw material for high-strength parts such as axles, semi-axles, springs, stops, shafts, gears, rods, spindles, and couplings. It is the basis for the production of spiral-seam and seamless tubular products. It is also used to produce reinforcement for reinforced concrete products.
