Description
Steel round bar 70 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a solid bar made of spring steel grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 70 mm. A running meter weighs 30.21 kg, with 33.1 meters of rolled steel per ton. It is supplied in 2–6 m long sections.
Round bars are produced by passing a hot billet through a rolling mill, adhering to the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard.
This steel is used for critical and highly loaded springs, thrust washers, brake belts, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other parts requiring increased wear resistance and operating under non-impact loads.
