Description
Steel round bar 8 mm 65G (66Mn4 / 1.1231) is a hot-rolled round bar made of high-quality spring steel grade 65G (66Mn4 / 1.1231).
It is produced at rolling mills by hot deformation from solid ingots and slabs in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).
The product is supplied in lengths of 2-6 m.
The theoretical weight is 0.39 kg per linear meter, with 2564.1 meters per ton.
The cross-sectional diameter is 8 mm.
This rolled product is widely used as a feedstock for manufacturing springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, as well as other components requiring increased wear resistance under non-impact operating loads.
