The standard length is 2-6 meters. The weight of a running meter is about 49.9 kg, with 20 meters of rolled steel in one ton. It is produced by passing preheated billets through rolling mills. The feedstock is structural alloy steel grade St40KhN. It is used in domestic and industrial construction to strengthen foundations, vertical and horizontal floors, and frame structures. In mechanical engineering, it is used as a billet for crankshafts, excavator shafts, bolsters, connecting rods, gears, levers, rods, cylinders and other critical spare parts.
