Description
Round steel forging 240 18KhGT(18CrMn4) is a cylindrical metal billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 240 mm. It is produced in accordance with GOST 4543-71 8478-70 7062-90 (EN10083) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 355 kg, with a length of about 2.8 m in one ton. The forgings are produced by forging and bulk stamping from 18KhGT(18CrMn4), a structural alloy steel. They are used for various levers, connecting rods, crankshafts, fasteners, gears, pipe billets, support or work rolls.
