Wear-resistant sheet 5 Hardox 400 is a high-strength, wear-resistant steel plate manufactured by the Swedish concern SSAB.

We offer sheets with a thickness of 5 mm and widths of 1.5 m and 2 m. The length of the rolled product is 6 m. The Brinell hardness is 370 - 430 HBW. The weight of a single 1.5x6 m sheet is 351 kg, with approximately 2.85 sheets per metric ton.

The primary application for this wear-resistant sheet metal includes the stamping of wear-resistant components, as well as the production of knives and cutting edges. It is also frequently used to reinforce the walls of dump truck bodies and bulldozer buckets. Furthermore, this steel grade is utilized in the production of chain wheels and conveyor guides.
