Wear plate 6 mm Hardox 400

Wear plate 6 Hardox 400 is a wear-resistant steel plate manufactured by the Swedish concern SSAB.

The sheet thickness is 6 mm. Standard dimensions are: width 1.5 - 2 m, length 6 m. The Brinell hardness of the steel is 370 - 430 HBW. A 1.5x6 m sheet weighs 421.20 kg, with approximately 2.37 sheets per metric ton.

Hardox wear-resistant steel is characterized by high strength and superior hardness.

It is used for manufacturing components for heavy-duty machinery and equipment, including road construction, quarrying, mining, forestry, and agricultural machinery. It is frequently used for cutting edges of mechanical shovels, granulator blades, and hydraulic hammers. Additionally, these sheets are used for lining dump truck bodies, excavator buckets, and crusher bins.
