Wear plate 8 Hardox 400 is a high-strength, wear-resistant steel plate manufactured by the Swedish concern SSAB.

The Brinell hardness of the steel ranges from 370 to 430 HBW. The sheet width is 2 m, and the length is 12 m. The weight of the product is 1497.60 kg.

Hardox steel increases the payload capacity of structures and reduces equipment weight without compromising performance, thereby minimizing downtime and lowering maintenance costs.

It is used for manufacturing cutting edges and knives for mining equipment, as well as blades and liners for shredders and crushers. This wear-resistant steel is also utilized as a lining material for bulldozer buckets and dump truck bodies.
