Wear-resistant plate 12 Hardox 450 is a high-strength steel sheet manufactured by the Swedish concern SSAB.
The Brinell hardness ranges from 425 to 475 HBW. Sheets are available in dimensions of 2 m in width and 12 m in length, with a unit weight of 2246.4 kg.
This material is utilized in the production of agricultural, road construction, and mining machinery. It is also in high demand for manufacturing crushers, grinders, disintegrators, mechanical and hydraulic alligator shears, high-load chain links, railway track components, conveyor augers, and auger drills. Furthermore, it is used for armoring military vehicles, reinforcing walls and floors, and constructing safes.
