Wear plate 40 mm Hardox 450

Hardox 450 wear plate is a premium Swedish wear-resistant steel manufactured by SSAB.

The plate features a thickness of 40 mm and a Brinell hardness of 425 - 475 HBW. Sheets are available in widths of 1.5 m and 2 m with a standard length of 6 m. The unit weight for a 1.5x6 m sheet is 2808 kg.

This grade of wear-resistant steel is characterized by excellent cold-bending properties.

It is widely used in mechanical engineering for the production of electric vehicles, bulldozers, and road construction or mining equipment. The steel is ideal for manufacturing components for tipper bodies and trailers used to transport abrasive materials such as rocks, agricultural products, and construction debris.
