Hardox 500 wear plate is a high-strength, wear-resistant steel sheet manufactured by the Swedish steel producer SSAB.

The product length is 12 m, with a standard sheet width of 2 m and a thickness of 20 mm. The Brinell hardness ranges from 470 to 540 HBW. The weight of a single 2x12 m sheet is 3744 kg.

The exceptional strength and wear resistance of this steel allow for increased payload capacity in structures and reduced equipment weight without compromising performance.

It is widely used for lining bunkers, concrete mixer drums, dump truck bodies, and excavator buckets. Additionally, Hardox 500 wear plate is utilized for manufacturing weld-on wear bars for side walls, edges, corners, and protective liners for bucket bottoms.
