Wear-resistant sheet 30 Hardox 500 is a 30 mm thick wear-resistant high-strength steel sheet. It is produced by the Swedish steelmaker SSAB. It comes in 1.5 m or 2 m widths. The rolled length is 6 m. The weight is 2150 kg. Brinell hardness is 470-540 HB. Such sheets are often used for armoring military equipment, civilian vehicles and buildings, as well as for lining dump truck bodies, measuring bins, skip hoists, and concrete mixer drums. It is also used as the main material for the production of excavator buckets, bulldozer shovels and other attachments that are subject to particularly heavy wear.
