Description
Hardox 500 wear-resistant sheet 36 is a 36 mm thick high-strength wear-resistant steel plate.
The available widths are 1.5 m or 2 m, with a standard length of 6 m. The weight is 2543.4 kg, and the Brinell hardness ranges from 470 to 540 HBW.
It is manufactured by SSAB.
These plates are widely used for armoring military equipment, civilian vehicles, and secure facilities, as well as for lining dump truck bodies, measuring hoppers, skip hoists, and concrete mixer drums. It also serves as a primary material for manufacturing excavator buckets, bulldozer blades, and other machinery attachments subjected to extreme wear.
