Wear plate 4 mm Hardox 500

Hardox 500 wear plate is a high-strength, wear-resistant steel sheet. The thickness of the sheet is 4 mm. Sheets are available in dimensions of 2 m in width and 12 m in length. The weight of a single 2x12 m sheet is 753.6 kg, with approximately 1.34 sheets per tonne.

This high-strength steel is not intended for further heat treatment. The Brinell hardness is 470 - 540 HBW.

The product is manufactured by the Swedish concern SSAB.

It is used in the production of cutting elements for crushers, lining for loading equipment, and skip hoists. This steel is also used to manufacture bulldozer cutting edges, gears, and sprockets.
