Description
Wear-resistant plate 40 Hardox 500 is a 40 mm thick, high-strength, wear-resistant steel sheet.
It is manufactured by SSAB. The plate is available in widths of 1.5 m or 2 m, with a standard length of 6 m. The unit weight is 2826 kg, and the Brinell hardness ranges from 470 to 540 HBW.
These plates are widely used for armoring military equipment, civilian vehicles, and structures, as well as for lining dump truck bodies, storage bins, skip hoists, and concrete mixer drums. It also serves as a primary material for manufacturing excavator buckets, bulldozer blades, and other attachments subject to extreme wear.
Wear-resistant plate 40 Hardox 500 can be purchased via self-collection at UTMK metal service centers in Warsaw, Lodz, Krakow, Poznan, Sofia, Varna, and Plovdiv. Orders of one ton or more can be delivered across Poland and Bulgaria. Additional services such as bending and cutting are available upon request.
