Wear plate 6 mm Hardox 500

Hardox 500 wear plate is a high-performance abrasion-resistant steel from the Swedish brand Hardox, manufactured at SSAB facilities.

The sheet thickness is 6 mm, with a Brinell hardness of 470–540 HBW. Available sheet dimensions include widths of 1.5 m and 2 m, with a standard length of 6 m. A 1.5x6 m sheet weighs 421.2 kg, resulting in approximately 2.37 sheets per metric ton.

This steel grade is widely used in heavy engineering and the manufacturing of mining equipment. It is ideal for producing bushings, cutting edges, replaceable liners for skip hoists, crushers, grinders, and screening media. It is also used for shredder knives and plates, disintegrators, alligator shears, heavy-duty chain links, railway track components, and conveyor screws.

Hardox 500 wear-resistant sheets can be purchased for self-pickup at UTMK metal service centers in Warsaw, Lodz, Krakow, Poznan, Sofia, Varna, and Plovdiv. We also offer delivery for orders starting from one ton to any location within the EU. Additional processing services, including bending and cutting, are available upon request.
