Wear plate 25 Hardox 550 is a premium-quality special steel produced by the Swedish company SSAB.

The sheet has a thickness of 25 mm and a Brinell hardness of 525 - 575 HBW. Sheets with a width of 1.5 and 2 m and a length of 6 m are available for order. The weight of a 1.5 x 6 m sheet is 1766.25 kg.

Wear-resistant sheets of this grade are easy to cold-bend.

Due to the combination of excellent workability and high strength, this steel is widely used in the production of mining equipment, dump truck bodies, excavator buckets, and crushers. It is also used for manufacturing components for tippers and trailers.
