Description
Wear-resistant sheet 4 Hardox 550 is a 4 mm thick high-strength steel plate. It is manufactured by the Swedish company SSAB.
The sheet is available in widths of 1.5 m or 2 m and a length of 6 m. The weight of a 1.5x6 m sheet is 280.8 kg, with approximately 3.56 pieces per ton. The material features a Brinell hardness of 525-575 HBW, providing exceptional durability and extended service life for demanding applications.
It is manufactured by the Swedish company SSAB.
This steel is used for components requiring high wear resistance, such as grinding equipment gears, crusher teeth, conveyor belt knives, excavator cutting edges, sorting pocket liners, grab buckets, shredder mills, and pellet mill knives.
