Wear plate 6 Hardox 600 is a high-strength wear-resistant steel plate manufactured by the Swedish concern SSAB.

The product length is 6 m, with available widths of 1.5 m and 2 m. The thickness is 6 mm. The Brinell hardness ranges from 570 to 640 HBW. The weight of a 1.5x6 m sheet is 421.2 kg, with approximately 2.37 sheets per tonne.

It is positioned as the hardest sheet steel in the world, designed for use in extreme operating conditions.

It is used in the production of edges for garbage truck compactors, lining for sorting pockets, hydraulic hammers, gravel chute liners, drum blades, cutting edges for mechanical shovels, bulldozer blades, and crusher bins. Additionally, 6 Hardox 600 wear-resistant plate is used to manufacture weld-on bars for side walls and edges, corners, and protective plates for bucket bottoms.
