MARS 500 high-strength armor steel plate is supplied in a 4.5 mm thickness and 1500x4000 mm dimensions. Produced by Industeel (France), this ballistic sheet has a unit weight of 211.95 kg.
Featuring a standardized hardness profile of 477 – 534 HBW, the material provides exceptional resistance to structural deformation and penetration from tactical threats and fragmentation.
This steel is ideal for integration into armored personnel carrier (APC) side plates, heavy blast shields, perimeter fortifications, and heavy-duty industrial scrap balers.
