MARS 600 ultra-high-hardness armored steel plate with a thickness of 16 mm and dimensions of 2400x4000 mm. Manufactured by Industeel (ArcelorMittal), a single sheet has a calculated weight of 1205.76 kg.
This specialized ballistic steel features a hardness range of 570 – 640 HBW, providing exceptional resistance to fragmentation and projectile impact. It is widely used in the production of infantry fighting vehicle components, spall liners, target backstops, and naval deck armor.
