Description
MARS 600 ultra-high-hardness armor steel plate features a thickness of 16 mm and large 2400x6000 mm dimensions. Manufactured by Industeel (ArcelorMittal), a single plate has a calculated weight of 1808.64 kg.
This specialized ballistic steel is rated at 570 – 640 HBW hardness, providing exceptional resistance to fragmentation and projectile impact. It is widely used for advanced infantry fighting vehicle components, spall liners, target backstops, and naval deck fortifications.
