MARS 600 ultra-high-hardness armor steel plate features a thickness of 17 mm and dimensions of 2400x6000 mm. Manufactured by Industeel (ArcelorMittal), a single plate has a calculated weight of 1921.68 kg. This specialized ballistic steel is rated at 570 – 640 HBW, providing exceptional resistance to fragmentation and projectile impact in tactical applications.

It is widely used for manufacturing components for infantry fighting vehicles, spall liners, target backstops, and naval deck armor.
