MARS 600 ultra-high-hardness armor steel plate features a thickness of 18 mm and large 2400x6000 mm dimensions. Manufactured by Industeel (ArcelorMittal), a single sheet has a calculated weight of 2034.72 kg.

This specialized ballistic steel is rated at 570 – 640 HBW, providing exceptional resistance to fragmentation and projectile impact. It is widely utilized for infantry fighting vehicle components, spall liners, ballistic backstops, and naval deck armor.
