Description
A 100x8 steel flat bar is a hot-rolled metal product with a rectangular cross-section. The product has a width of 100 mm and a thickness of 8 mm. The weight per linear meter is 6.3 kg, with approximately 159.24 meters per metric ton. The product is supplied in 6.05-meter lengths.
Manufactured in accordance with EN 10058 cert. 3.1, the flat bar is produced using hot-rolling technology from S235JR structural low-carbon steel.
This flat bar serves as a billet for angles, channels, and other bent sections. It is widely used in the pipe industry as raw material for manufacturing longitudinal welded pipes of small and medium diameters, as well as spiral welded pipes. Additionally, nuts, mounting brackets, and stops are produced from this steel flat bar via stamping.
