Description

The 40x8 steel flat bar is a long, rectangular, solid-section rolled product. The width is 40 mm and the thickness is 8 mm. A linear meter weighs 2.5 kg, with 398.41 meters per ton. It is supplied from the warehouse in 6.05-meter lengths.

It is manufactured on rolling mills using the hot-rolling method in accordance with EN 10058 cert. 3.1 standards. The material used for production is a heated billet of structural carbon steel grade S235JR.

This rolled product is in demand for the manufacture of machine tools, ultrasonic equipment, laboratory test benches, production and transport machinery, as well as for the production of bent structures, pipes, and cutting tools. Steel flat bars are widely used in the construction of both industrial and civil facilities.
