Description
Hollow section 10x10x1.5 is a steel square pipe with an outer dimension of 10 mm, a wall thickness of 1.5 mm, and a cross-sectional area of 0.343 cm2. These pipes are manufactured by electric welding or cold deformation, using steel grade 08ps as the material, regulated by DSTU 8940 quality (custom dimensions).
The length of a 10x10x1.5 square pipe depends on the manufacturing method: 4.5-11 m for cold-formed pipes and 5-9 m for electric-welded pipes. One meter weighs 0.37 kg, with 2702.7 meters in one ton.
Profile pipes 10x10x1.5 are commonly used in construction for metal frames of stairs, fence bases, greenhouse frames, covers, and storage racks. They are also used in furniture production for table frames and sofa legs.
