Hollow section 40x30x3 is a rectangular steel pipe with a cross-sectional area of 3.68 cm2. Its dimensions are 40 mm in width, 30 mm in height, and 3 mm in wall thickness. One meter of this pipe weighs 2.89 kg, with 346.02 meters per ton.

These pipes are manufactured according to DSTU 8940 (EN 10219 func. analogue). Seamless profile pipes 40x30x3 are produced through cold or hot deformation, while welded pipes are produced by electric welding. High-quality carbon steel grades 08ps / St3ps ( DC01 / S235JRH ) are used in their production.
