Hollow section 60x40x1.5 is a rectangular steel pipe manufactured according to DSTU 8940 (EN 10219 func. analogue) from high-quality carbon steel. The product dimensions are 60 mm in width, 40 mm in height, and 1.5 mm in wall thickness. One meter of pipe weighs 2.25 kg, meaning one ton contains approximately 444.44 meters.

The pipes are produced from 08ps / St3ps ( DC01 / S235JRH ) grade steel using cold-worked, hot-worked, or electric-welded methods. They are available in lengths of 4 to 12 meters.

Characterized by its light weight, good bending properties, strength, and affordability, this hollow section is commonly used in various applications. These include constructing frames for greenhouses, sheds, and hangars, as well as serving as a base for railings, fences, and stairs.
