Crane rail KR140 (A120)

Crane rail KR140 is a type of crane rail with a thickened neck and a lower profile height compared to railroad rails.

It is produced at line and structural steel mills by hot rolling from K63 (≈ R260) high-carbon steel grade. Rolled products are manufactured in accordance with DSTU 2484-94 / GOST 4121-96 (≈ DIN 536, A120).

The standard cut length is 12.5 meters. Beam dimensions: height - 170 mm, sole width - 170 mm, head width - 140 mm. The weight of one running meter is 141.7 kg. One ton contains 7.1 m of rolled steel.

This product is widely used in seaports, construction sites, and industrial enterprises for the construction of crane tracks for support and bridge equipment on rail with a lifting capacity of more than 10 tons.
