Industrial rail R43 (R220 / R260)

Rail R-43 is a structural steel shaped product used for railway rails.

It is produced on universal and linear rail and structural steel mills by hot rolling. The material used is a cast billet made from open-hearth or electric furnace steel grades M76 and E76 (≈ R260, R350HT), as well as their modifications. Production fully complies with DSTU 2539-94 / GOST 7173-54 (≈ EN 13674-1, R220/R260).

The standard cut is 12.5 m. Product dimensions: height - 140 mm, head width - 70 mm, sole width - 114 mm. The weight of one running meter is 44.7 kg; one ton contains 22.3 m.

It is used in the construction of track superstructure when creating jointless and link track at mines, industrial enterprises, and trading bases, narrow-gauge tracks, and for arranging turnouts at the entrance to stations. Suitable for heavy industrial vehicles.
